Currently, I am the Senior Lead Web Developer for The Linux Foundation. I manage their Multisite(s) which hosts 100+ sub-sites and over two dozen single sites. Primary hosting is on Pantheon with a few of the WordPress Sites on WP Engine. We also create and host sites with Hubspot, Shopify, Astro, React, Netlify, Github Pages, and a variety of other sources. Daily work ranges from API development, custom theme, and custom plugin development. Pantheon utilizes Git natively, WP-CLI, and Terminus command line applications. DevOps is their SDLC and tools used range from JIRA, Slack, Zoom, and a dozen other tools for general software development. Primary repository is GitHub.
I am a local Owensboro, Kentucky native that loves creating websites, designing, developing, working with people and building them something that they can showcase to the community and world.
My clients range from individual small “mom and pops” to contract work on literally fortune 500 companies. My rates are extremely reasonable because I create these websites out of my passion. I am a full time salaried employee at a wonderful company – The Linux Foundation. So my contract rates can be lower than other developers that have far less skill than mine own.
I want to see Owensboro, Kentucky businesses grow. It’s depressing seeing so many small mom and pop businesses start up and then shortly fold within under a year. Most of these businesses did not have a website or had a terrible social media presence in a day and age where that is what people expect!
As I have mentioned, I have a full time salary position. I am not looking to “squeeze the prune” of any drop of juice I can manage.
