I currently serve as Senior Lead Web Developer for The Linux Foundation, where I manage a WordPress multisite network of over 100 sub-sites plus more than two dozen standalone sites. Most of these sites are hosted on Pantheon, with several additional WordPress sites running on WP Engine. Beyond WordPress, our team also builds and hosts sites using HubSpot, Shopify, Astro, and React, deployed through platforms like Netlify and GitHub Pages, among other tools.
My day-to-day work covers API development, custom WordPress theme development, and custom plugin development. On the Pantheon side, I work regularly with Git, WP-CLI, and Terminus for command-line site management and deployment. The Linux Foundation follows a DevOps-driven software development lifecycle, using tools like JIRA, Slack, and Zoom for project management and team collaboration, alongside GitHub as our primary code repository.
I’m a local Owensboro, Kentucky native, and I love everything about creating websites: designing, developing, working with people, and building something they can proudly showcase to their community and the world.
My clients range from individual “mom and pop” shops to contract work for Fortune 500 companies. My rates stay reasonable because I’m a full-time salaried employee at a company I love, The Linux Foundation, so I’m not relying on contract work to make a living. That means my rates can be lower than developers with far less experience and skill, and I’m not trying to squeeze every last dollar out of a project.
I want to see Owensboro, Kentucky businesses grow and thrive, online and in-store. I’ll work with your budget to build you a website and online store that actually gets results.
